Why don't Republicans quit trying to keep everyone out with force and instead work with the Dems to reform immigration, which we sorely need. However, since Republicans believe more immigrants become Dem voters, nothing will happen along that front. Plus, I doubt Republicans want to work with all these repressive South American countries to make living conditions improve so these people don't even want to immigrate here in the first place.
