Actually, the K6-3 line was famous for running hotter than usual. They had to recall the 550 line because they kept frying themselves IIRC. (or was it the 450?)Testiculese wrote:K6/3? That would barely warm the egg. Those things didn't even have fans on the heatsink..if they even had a heatsink!
At any rate, anything p2 and above should fry an egg in short order.
I wonder how fast a dual xeon sys would fry an egg.
