Do you know woody that no head of the Secret Service has ever been fired for an assassination attempt on any president or government official ever, at least that I could find, until Trumpkins Maxipad gets winged in the ear by a bullet. He wasn't even killed. JFK was and yet, the head of the S.S. kept his job back then. Go figure.

I believe you Spidey. But I reiterate. The head of the Secret Service was NOT fired back then when a president was successfully assassinated. This time, the assassination attempt failed, yet the head of the S.S. is forced to resign. I firmly believe she should've resigned right after the attempt on Trump. But I also believe the head of the S.S. back when Kennedy was killed and Reagan was shot should've both resigned. I'm not quite old enough to remember the political fallout with JFK, but it didn’t rise to the point that either man was forced to resign. Taking responsibility should be a given, not an afterthought, no matter the position. This whole episode stinks.

Well, the point being is the head of the S.S. was forced to resign because of a massive breach of policy, that policy was not in effect at the time of JFK's assassination therefore there was no cause to require the resignation.

You shouldn't fire someone if they didn't do anything wrong...unless you are looking for a scapegoat.

Uh, the mission of the Secret Service is to protect the president. If that president is killed or even attacked on your watch, either you resign or get fired, because you failed to do your job, protect the president. Maybe if that threat was stated reality when hired, policy would be taken more seriously and updated more frequently to reflect current threats by any leader who's appointed to oversee the Secret Service.

So by now you may have (but probable not) heard the grilling of Rowe by the Senate committee tasked to do so. Under testimony Rowe said they had no info other than there was a suspicious character moving around yet about 3 min. before the shots, one of the victims has cell phone footage of the shooter moving along the roof and when he goes prone, you can see his head appear over the ridge line of the roof. Now this is from Bongino (who was a USSS agent on presidential protection details) and if you want to ignore him and get your info somewhere else from someone who is afraid of losing their pension or job, feel free. Where were and when did the counter surveillance units (CSU) show up? Apparently just that morning instead of earlier that week . Where are their reports? When will the actual USSS agents on site testify under oath (this includes the snipers). There is a whistleblower who apparently says Rowe had reduced CSU for Trump events though Rowe testified he hadn't.
Bongino states as it looks more and more like Trump will win, More whistleblowers will come forward for not only this failure, but why are USSS email's missing regarding Jan. 6th pipe bomb episode. Be that as it may, according the the head of the Heritage Foundation, they've already gotten some of their Project 2025 plans going behind the Dems backs. They'd better be careful. Not everyone in this country likes that crap and will take extreme exception. If Trump's performance at the National Association of Black Journalists is any indication however, he's toast among black women since his latent racism and bald facing lying keeps creeping out his pie hole. He's already toast among most women with more than 2 brain cells in their head. I think to qualify to be a female member of MAGA, you either have to have zero brain cells and/or hold onto the Bible like an anchor. And time will tell if the interim S.S. leadership learns from this herculean mistake with Trump. You just won't be satisfied until some stupid MAGA suck-up gets that post anyway.

Why are you so fixated on Trump. As to MAGA females, at least they know they are females and don't have problem with having babies. There will come a time when the liberals will abort themselves out of existence and America will be the better for it.
