Re: \"Back when the greats were playing\"....
I have watched the movie on your link. It's the Red Acropolis intro movie that I've seen about fifty times -- yes, counting that link. I don't understand how it explains anything.
You'll have to do some of that explaining for yourself I guess. I'm very interested to hear your logic about how that movie proves that the material defender is you and not, for example, TigerRaptorFX or Sirius.

Yes. But how does that prove that you are the material defender?

AF, you're taking his bait hook, line, and sinker. There's no reason for you to pursue it.

I'm always interested in how different people think.
In the meantime I stay on guard, stay polite, and don't give him the satisfaction of losing my head. It's kind of fun really.

I was thinking Blackvertigo1. Maybe I was little hard on you. So I will make it up by telling you the name of the real Material Defender. He goes by the name of karx11erx and he created D2X-XL You haven't seen a true Descenter until you seen him in action.

How could your friend of yours be a Material Defender?
Does he own a dematerialized ship?

Holy Balls. This place is STILL around?
Re: \"Back when the greats were playing\"....
yeah I just decided to check in, and apparently all of the old farts still have no place to go
Re: \"Back when the greats were playing\"....
You're all old.
Re: \"Back when the greats were playing\"....
I don't think you guys ever gave Xeon enough credit. Too many people who only think of him as ranking up in Amateur's Arena and never give him credit for the skill he had.

What about Scratch? He was good. I think he played for ROX.

I remember me too.
And Annabelle, he sucked.

Still here.
Re: \"Back when the greats were playing\"....
I've been working out the kinks with a Windows 10 install and joystick/controller issues, but have been hitting up multiplayer games that I can find on the tracker again as well.

Sorry, Hunter, I forgot to mention you.

I remember being moderately successful. Distant memory.. Must be pretty terrible now.
Re: \"Back when the greats were playing\"....
Yeah for some people D3 skillz are like if you don't use them you lose them, others stay where they left off and it's like riding a bike, you never really forget.

Re: \"Back when the greats were playing\"....
When I played this game I must have been 12 or 13. My tag was Freakster and I remember I was pretty good. With some folk fearing me a bit. My uncle was Dorkster, and typically we'd play together. I'd make sure I was on his team, of course.
I join the BOZ bots now and just get my butt handed to me. Forget playing against a real player. My skills are TOTALLY gone XD
I'm sure with some patience I can get them back again. But these days I rarely see a game crop up and usually it's a 1v1. I'd LOVE to see some CTF action again in Veins, or Anarchy in Subway or Earthshaker. Some of the fondest memories I had were Amateur's Arena and Skybox. I'd love to see some more games crop up from time to time but, people just seem to be losing interest in the game. And friends who've never heard of it don't like it because "it's too old". They'd rather be playing that Hollywood bullcrap that's popular these days, like CoD. It's literally the same game, every year. And they pretty openly tout that they aren't there to provide players with an experience. Just out to get your wallet.
*sigh* Games just aren't the same these days.
