Try increasing the size of your Swap file or move it to another partition with more room.

AAARGH! The goggles - they do nothing!

Try a compressed JPG. Uncompressed might as well be a TIFF file. Actually, it's worse than that.

What on earth did you save it with? Did you not notice :FILE SIZE 225.05KB??? Image

On to the subject of your thread:

I've never seen anyone with NEGATIVE available RAM. o_O??

If a reboot don't work I dunno what would.

[edit] Wait, nevermind. D3 is probably storing the unsigned value it gets from Windows into a signed variable... oops Image It will work right until you get lotsa free RAM. [/edit]

Its a known fact that the D3 system reporting utility is notoriously <s> hilarious</s> inaccurate.

REDETECT SYSTEM PROPERTIES.

D3 Launcher ---> Setup ---> Speed ---> Detect System Properties

Ace, GIF is your friend. Use GIF for screenshots like that. JPEG is for photos or renders.

EDIT: Ace you retard! You renamed a damn BMP file to a jpeg! No ****ing wonder it was so large! I took that image and saved it as a GIF and its barely over 5kB! To top it all off, there is no noticable difference in image quality!

OMG Renaming a BMP to a JPG does not equal compressing a BMP to a JPG!

Oh yeah, check virtual RAM settings in windows if the error keeps on showing up after a reboot. (system properties, advanced tab, performance button, advanced tab, etc.)

768-1536 MB is plenty in most cases... Just fix it at 1536 if you want to avoid fragmentation.

No wonder norton needs to defrag your disk every three days if you keep all your images in disguised BMP format at two to twenty megs a pop.
