What are you talking about? The wiring or the parts inside the power supply?

(To be honest, if you're too lazy to look this up, you shouldn't be messing with a power supply in the first place.)

I think what he's asking for is this, put very basically. The +3.3V rail is used to run logic (mainboard bios) and memory. The +5.0V powers microprocessors (the CPU) and the +12.0V runs motors, such as CD Roms, HDDs and Fans. To know which wire carries which voltage out of the PSU, just remember the alphabet.

Orange - +3.3V
Red - +5.0V
Yellow - +12.0V

if you are worried about hooking somehting up to the wrong amount of power. don't worry. all the power plugs in power supplys and PC components are specially shaped so you can't hook anything up wrong.

things will only go where they are ment to go (unless you bash them with a hammer).

I am talking about what components use 3.3V, what components use 5V, and what components use 12V.

According to what I have been getting from other forums, the CPU uses 3.3V, 5V, and 12V.

You are not as stupid as people in the New Orleans public school system. At least you can read and write.
