Crash to desktop

Whenever I try to start a d3 game the loadscreen appears, but after the level loads, the game displays a normal cursor and any key causes a crash to the desktop. Help?

Just a thought, but try removing your pilot files from your D3 directory and starting it up again. I had what I believe was a corrupt pilot file at one time that produced the same symptoms, and removing the bad file fixed the problem.

what does your error.log say? (please just post the error msg itself and not the registers and all of that.)
