Those who know will only use Fortron Source PSUs (They make Sparkle and Powerman as well as several others)

Look for fortron @ Newegg

I have a Fortron Source 450w PSU I got from Stress when he was still at www.coolerguys.com almost 2 years ago and it is still running strong with no loss in power or any problems so far. Thx Stress.

I'm running a Fortron in my rig right now and its taken everything I've thrown at it and came back begging for more.

Can never remmember what was I got since I was looking for a 350 but you didn't have any. So I seem to keep confusing the 50's part.:(

PC Power and Cooling makes a 425 watt ATX PSU for under $150, I think its $145 :) Honestly though, PC Power and Cooling makes the best power supplies out there. A quick look inside reveals guts that are much larger and much higher quality than just about everything else out there. The voltage don't drop with increased temperature. Best things going.

www.pcpowerandcooling.com

Their webpage is somewhat crappy, but rest assured the power supplies are top notch.

I <3 my Fortron 420 with the 120mm clear fan and fancy blue LED. Quiet, reliable and pretty.
