Believing in Bushâ??s perfidy gives some people the same comfort and emotional nourishment others get from believing in Jesus. It validates them, cements their view of the world â?? venal, conspiratorial, run by capering chimps who are somehow ten times less intelligent than Usenet posters but somehow able to yank strings on a global scale.
Great column. The funny thing is, if Michael Moore didn't already exist, the right would have to invent him. Moore has given a face and a voice to the left. Not a very pretty face, nor a very truthful voice, but like it or not, all liberals will now be equated with him. Ever wonder if Moore is really just an operative of the VRWC?
Unfortunately, you are probably correct. People tend to generalize and stereotype and now Moore, a left-wing fanatic, will represent the left, which I feel is unfair. That's like using Hitler to represent the right.
(Not equating Moore and Hitler, but both are extremely slanted to their respective sides)
First, please never call me Bush again.
Just because I said Moore was a fanatic doesn't mean I don't agree with him
DC,I dunno who you're talking to. I'm assuming Vader.
Anyway, Moore himself has admitted many times that his work is slanted and completely unfair. He is extremely left-wing and all his work is a representation of that political stance. I'm not bashing him, I'm stating fact.
