Hey guys, I just finished up a new MOD. I've actually been working on it for a couple years but I've been very lazy.
Anywho, it's called Descentrix and it's basically Descent 3 in slow motion.
Get it here:

I couldn't find anyone to test it at this late hour, so could somebody please let me know if the Impact Mortars are working correctly? I assume that they are, but I'd like to make sure. Thanks!

I'll probably just end up making Descentrix version 1.1 ;) I came up with the name years ago before I heard about the Matrix sequels.

Hey Mr. Scary, we should try out this MOD sometime. = ) It sounds like a good MOD to me. If someone hosts it, I'll try it out for sure. This reminds of that song "Slow Motion" by Juvenile lol. = )

Suncho, you want me to upload this to Do_Checkor's FTP server so that he can host it on Dfiles?

Yes. Dodging is harder. Hitting the other guy is easier. But all the ships have more shields so fights last longer.

Sounds like a mod begging for accurate collisions.

Interesting idea. Try it out. Though I'm not sure by how much the effects of lag are reduced.

Just tried it out. It's an interesting concept, kind of feels like flying underwater. I'd make a note to make sure servers know to disable BP though, as it isn't affected by the ship speed reduction.

You can play with the BP???
Someone's gotta tell me these things. Is there anything else in the readme that isn't working?

I'd like to ask everyone to remove Descentrix from their computers/download sites. I'll be releasing another version shortly.
Edit: Nevermind. I thought it was an easy fix, but it's not. Just ban the black pyro for now.

I haven't tried it yet, but I want to. Until I get a new stick, it's probably not gonna happen...
Is it possible to set accurates for certain weapons, like it is for flares? If so, set it on for MD, Vauss, Microwave & Fusion.
That would be awesome!

Actually um that's what I did. I just kept picking it back up again and gradually finished. I didn't really put much work into it.
