Can get into some sites but not others.
I have a friend who can get on Yahoo, can get onto his Stock webpage put gets "Page can not be displayed" when he tries to log in.
Same with Hotmail, he can't sign in past the main page.
Any ideas?

Update
The only pages he can't get into are ones that he has to log-in to.
MSN/Hotmail, and his stock website. He can get to the website but can't logon to get personal info. Same if he tries to get onto his new Verzion home page.
He has just installed Verizon DSL and added a Belkin wireless router.
He has two computers hooked up. One has no problems and the other has this "logon to sites problem.
Both computers are running XP, IE, Norton, no firewall.
He has run anti-virus software, Spybot and Ad-aware. Delete all cookies and Temp/Temporary files.
No popup stopper.
Haven't tried "maintenance" on IE because I want to be there for that.
Where is the cookie enable settings?
?????????????????????

tell him to go into Nortons Internet Security/Privacy Control/Configure/Advanced and either add (Add Site) or reconfigure(under global tab) his favorite sites. Don't forget to add Microsoft.com, windowsupdate.com and v4.windowsupdate.comthewolfe wrote:.... Norton Security.
Ex: profile for www.msn.com (in msn.com) under global, I unchecked use default in "information about your browser" section and clicked the permit radio button(leaving the rest as they were) works fine
or when you get to the configure for privacy control do not click advanced. Just uncheck use privacy control, from there you are on your own@@@!
