I'd written this before kinda but it was not really a poem so I re-did it.
Untitled
He dances and laughs in glee
Childish in his dimples and the
Wrinkle of his nose
His eyes of sparkling infinity
Giggles in his virtue
The flowers turn to ashes
Trees melt into gnarled fingers
Bent and rheumatic
Their bones popping
The crackle of a thousand fires
Setting a thousand verves alight
He dances in the smoldering of the
Crimson sky
The clouds of ashy malediction
The woes of ancient days and thoughts
Distraught
Full of doubt of what could be
As the blind lead the blind into a
Future of intolerance and duality
Fate sits and rests and hugs his knees
As faces melt into pools of ivory grins and
Burgundy smiles
He giggles and laughs at the games of irony and
Duplicates he plays upon the world
Dancing in glee with a grin of innocence
Unwittingly sets the globe ablaze
And still it burns
