Out goes the old P4 1.8 eith 512MB and a Ti4200...

In comes Mr. Prescott at 3.0GHz, 875 chipset, with 2GB DDR400, FX5700, CD burner, and 2 x 21" Philips Professional series monitors. WOOT! :)

Damn, my home box is starting to feel VERY long in the tooth.

The case has a large hole, and a duct right down onto the air intake for the CPU fan. Air out the back of the box is barely warm. It's almost completely silent. The office is fully air conditioned too. :)

barely warm huh...

I doubt that chip didn't get the nickname 'presshot' for nothing...
