I saw that the other day. Very interesting... I won't believe it till I see it blow up a planet, though.

Vertigo, you'd better go see the original Star Wars. The crater with the dimple looks alot like the focusing array on the death star.

Mebbe it didn't remain in orbit... maybe it was like that when Saturn captured it, having been knocked out of orbit previously?

That's killer!

80 miles wide? That's not very wide, that moon must be real small. Kind of a surprise it's intact.

Heh... first thing I noticed when I came into this topic was that a MOD, esp. one whom harshly criticizes ANYONE that doesn't embed their link, chose not to embed a link that's OBVIOUSLY going to be too big.

Back on Topic... am I the only one that sees a very large breast with a NICE nipple on it?

As I recall.. there is one heck of a stressfracture on the other side.

Though the fact that it's still round does show that it pretty much remained intact all of it's life... mebbe the impact formed when it was in the last stages of it's creation... though I don't think that would work out...

The link is actually just at the limit. It doesn't make me scroll, and I'm the one who usually gets up in arms about links making me scroll... so no, it's not "obviously" too big. If it was 2 characters longer, then it would be too big.

[Shaft]You're damn right![/Shaft]

Seriously though Stupid, I actually checked to see if it would make people scroll before I posted it. Perhaps you should re-read that announcement that I made some time ago. I never said embedding links all the time was compulsory. My only beef is with links that are so freakin' long that they make people scroll to read posts. Now I'm viewing at 1024x768 with zoom set to 100%. If its making you scroll I'll be glad to edit it.

[/rant=long] That link's easily larger than some of the others that I've seen bitched about, and YES, it does make me scroll. It doesn't matter much, though. I am unfortunate in the fact that I have a rather small monitor, and it would be an incredible eye strain to try to read print that is at 1024x768. When/if I ever buy a new computer, I'll have a nice, pretty 19" monitor that would work out much better at 1024x768. I had a real beef with the GGL because they don't take into consideration that there are people that play on the GGL that can't have their resolution higher than 800x600 and still be able to read without a magnifying glass. The GGL site is designed that you can't even scroll over to the sides in order to sign in, so I had to switch my screen (to 1024x768) and find something along the lines of a magnifying glass every time I wanted to log in. Of course, that doesn't matter now either, because D3 is so in the gutter that we can't even get 10 people to regularly play 1on1s in D3 (if we can even get 10 to regularly play D3 at all). [/rant]
P.S. I realize that noone liked the GGL, anyway. Just not the right type of system to try to get a small number of people to play 1on1s.

Semi-On-Topic: If that IS the death star, then that would mean that things from our Sci-Fi movies are real, just REALLY REALLY old. So, if we're finding out now that the Death Star was real, it'll only be a matter of years (like 20) that Aliens (from the movie of the same title) will come and invade Earth and kill us all. I may as well just off myself now, because I DO NOT want to be alive when that happens....

Yay, thanks MD.... If that moon is Mimas, and there are 31 moons... then I just need to get 30 other volunteers that are going to the ChiLAN to take a group picture with me... and I will write "MIMASS" on my bum and we can all moon the camera...
