ugh.. I own an ATI now... gasp!.. now, how do I....
Turn off that AA and AF shiz? cn it even be done... pretty gay for the drivers not to let you do as you please... okay, very gay...
right click on the desktop and go to properties as you would normally do. (this may differ because i use omega's drivers) but there is a tab for openGL and a tab for Direct 3D. put everything on whatever detail you want from there, also vsync and trueform etc are in this tab.
check the boxes that say application preference, that turns AA & AF off.

Go Here
Its the ATI Rage tweeker. It allows you some flexability with reg tweeks in an "attractive" GUI.
G/L ..ur gunna need it.

First off Defender, that crap would never happen. Any path that Mobi is on deserves to have something along the lines of daisy cutters dropped on it.
Let me clarify what it is. It is a Mobility Rodeo 7500 (Yes I said rodeo ) that is embedded into this laptop I purchased from a friend for a song.
Intel 2.2, 512, 30g, 7500 32m, 15" XGA+ 1400x1050, two bags, 56k-lan-11b, box, paper, software etc $550.00
So, don't even kid yourse;f, I have no plans on buying a rodeo for any machine I'd game on
You have to admit, I got a deal on that notebook.
I'll try your tips later tonight guys, thanks.

depends on what you're talking about.Ferno wrote:ugh... i would never touch anything 7500... too damn slow.
1) It does over 200 fps in d3 (Not as if it matters )
2) It's faster than that M4 ATI crap they always use.
3) It's a notebook! I got it as my work machine since I'll be traveling some, and not for gaminng at all
I would think someone as *ahem* knowledgable as you would have no trouble finding the AA/AF settings, so I gotta think that you're either using a crippled laptop manufacturer video driver, or you're using Cats without the Control Panel installed.
Grab some Cat's (I use 3.10 on my laptop) and run the mobile mod program on them. (changes the .inf file to recognize mobile chips) Or I can send you the fixed Cat's.
Also, since the display has a native 1400x1050 resolution, games that run below that resolution will be a bit blurry. Sort of a poor man's AA. Perhaps AA isn't even on?
