NAV 2k4 Pro

Post by AceCombat »

i came home today from some errands to find my NAV with a error stating:

Norton Anti-Virus has been tampered, please un-install and re-install the application.

i did this, and it works fine.......i became curious as to WTF happend....so i checked my router logs and found this:

00:00:09 TCP from 192.168.1.2:1331 to 192.114.71.215:80

....it was located in my Outgoing Log

has my security been breached? if yes, how?

i know for a fact, my remote administration and remote firmware update settings are both disabled. also the settings to allow normal users to modify settings and to allow remote internet settings access, are both also disabled.

http://192.114.71.215 just looks like a broken web server to me. And not just faking a broken web server either. Possibly an ID-Ten-T error? :P

Same way you upgrade it. The hard part is often finding an old firmware to download, but google is your friend.
