Logitech Elite Duo w/ D3

Post by Aggressor Prime »

The mouse has 4 buttons:
2 Thumb
Scroll
Bottom

I got 3 out of the 6 functions working in D3:
2 Thumb
Scroll Click

I still need:
Scroll Up
Scroll Down
Bottom

Should these functions work w/ D3?

assume not.

d3 is probably too old for those extra buttons, D3 supports only 4 mouse buttons and the scroll wheel(which was par for the course at the time of d3's release)

How many mouse buttons a game supports is up the game's programers.

go into the mouse control panel and map those buttons to keyboard commands instead of using their default browser commands.

I usually only use the two side buttons and I have them mapped to page up and page down, then the others to the same group of key comands they get mapped on the keyboard command page!

There's a special utility for making mouse buttons/wheels etc work in games that don't support it. Search the Logitech site for it. Oh - and get the one which maintains mouse acceleration in games too - you'll be wanting that one - for sure!
