Computer not working

Post by Cyclone »

well for some reason I booted up my computer when i got home from work and nothing on my computer works anymore. Internet doesn't work, windows media player doesn't work. Icq crashed. If i open anything on my desktop the window opens and crashes. Even nortan doesn't load and it gives me that blue sceen thing when i try to open it. basically nothing works without me getting a crash.

Need help please. thanks.

I Think there is some other problem here. Maybe a conflict with certain software programs(IE,98SE,WMP?) or hardware problems. cuzz i never had any of these prblems before untill recently like when I got my new hd and dvd burner.

Unplug things one at a time. Maybe you fried something while installing a component.

I dunno, if this just happened after reformating, then you probably didn't set it back up right. Maybe a missed driver, or perhapse a worm/virus snuck in before you got Windows patched.
