have beening trying different materials of replace the rubber on the hat so far this is the best solution,
use a innertube repair kit and vulcanising solution (glue to the uninformed) and preferably the ones for bikes. the ones i use are for track tubelars and dont have to be cut down to size.
takes about 5 mins to do.

Best idea is: read my site. ![Image](http://www.descentbb.net/ubb/tongue.gif)
Go down to an electrical supply depot and find a self-adhesive rubber grommet which PERFECTLY fits inside the hole in the HAT switch. From memory it is 12.5mm wide. Secure a belt sander upside down in a vice, or use a wheel sander with a rest - and sand down the pointed end until it's about 2 mm thick.
Stick grommet in hole.
VOILA.![Image](http://www.descentbb.net/ubb/biggrin.gif)
