According to id, The Rock is also expressing interest in playing the Space Marine in a Doom movie.

When are they gonna learn that these games don't translate well to screen? Hell, many people don't think Doom 3 was good to begin with (the rest of us either ignored it or complained about how poorly it transferred from web site to disk

).
