Feature Request.........

can we add a "Quick Reply" box when reading posts.

alot of forums that i visit have this feature and it is alot easier to reply without having to go through all the "New reply" clicking. just type your reply, hit submit and read your reply

I've seen that feature on a lot of BBs, I know it can be installed on phpBB. I dont think we really need it tho.

I really don't think we need it. What we do need though is the member allow/disallow avatar and signature mod installed like we wanted from the beginning. That way, those that want to see sigs and avatars can, and those that don't want to don't....and you can remove avatar/sig privileges from individual members instead of shutting down the entire system for everyone.

Well individual people can already be blocked from using avatars. I know of only one modification that does this, but it's got a lot of extra stuff on the side.

Maybe they could come up with some kind of mathematical pertinence algorithm, rather, and only display a calculated number of them.

Or we could do like slashdot, and have a numerical rating calculated and have preferences where if a post has a number lower than a certain threshold, dont display it.

Fortunately (or unfortunately depending on how you see it) this BB is not like most BBs on the net, where you can be banned just because you greately insulted everyone on the entire planet/universe/multiverse by spelling the word "the" wrong only once. (Meaning; they will find or make any reason to ban you.)

i broke a rule, i got temp banned for a week. i see your point, and ive known that for a while now.
