Ever deal with a 22-250 AI?
How about any of the wildcat cartridges?
I have a hankering for a .22 Cheetah and a Swift AI.

In the market again and I'm considering going with a custom job, but not sure what to purchase.

Any experience with any of these loads? Loading quirks? etc.

Never played with one and really don't know much about them, but I'll ask the experts next time I'm down at the shop.

What I find humorous is they make all these wildcats to try to match or beat the proformance of the 220 Swift. This just begs the question, why not just buy a Swift?

Well, my biggest concern with the swift is case life. That's why I'm considering a swift AI. The change extends case life 3 fold and allows hotter loads, trade off I guess.

I still think the wildcats are cool.

I went pheasant hunting last year with my brother-in-law and his father in S. Dakota. After we got our limit of birds for the day we would go shooting prairie dogs. I dont know what it was we were using but those danged things would splode from 400 yards if ya hit them

I don't have any trouble with caselife with my 220, but, getting a 300% increase would be pretty sweet

I might have to take a closer look at that swiftAI
