2000 will come real quick at this rate, you're right.
Listen guys. For those of you that want a very powerful workstation at a very cheap price considering, check this out.
I just purchased a dual Xeon system and have mass parts here so all I needed was the CPUs and board.
There is this great deal on now for a matched pair of low voltage 1.6Ghz HT CPUs over here for $119 shipped in the US. The link on that page called "Crazed Overclockers" is a link to the Anandtech forums where everyone is overclocking the hell outa these things to the likes of 2.6~2.8Ghz. Add to that a Asus PC-DL mobo for 180 @ mwave.com and for under 300 you can have 5.2Ghz +.
I really don't need it, but I ordered them anyway, and figure they will churn out WU's faster then any 2 systems here can do combined

HEY STRESS >> I have a 3Ghz dual xeon here and I cannot get my two processes to take more than 25% of the cpu time (50% of total processing). Any idea what the prob is? I assume that since hyperthreading is turned on and the OS reports that I have 4 CPUs instead of 2 that F@H gets confused ...
I suppose I could just run 2 more processes on this box but I would rather keep it to 2 at 50% each.
Any help wood b appreshated ... I am wasting 3Ghz here

Hmm...I wont have 120 for two weeks, I dont suppose you'd consider grabbing them for me and i could just pay you for the chips and shipping when I do get money? Dont do it right away if you do, cause I still need to think about wether I wanna assemble another system, but just think about it.
Oh, and could someone asnwer my question about the RAM?
