ShadowLAN please fix your connection and get a dedicated connection for hosting, or just stop hosting if you can't.

Zero made a request. As did I.

Digi, I'm not sure if you're aware of the fact that the ShadowLan servers are run on a T1 connection that is shared with some 20-30 odd computers in a Lan-InternetGaming facility. If I need to explain why that is BAD(tm), please just go away.

Add that to the fact that whoever is setting up the servers isn't paying attention to important details...(please...leaving fricken prox mines in a 14 player Bi3? Disallow should have been a no-brainer for that one), and you have a bad situation.

ok now i understand what you mean with bad connection related with this servers, havent played on the shadowlan servers in a while.

"get a dedicated connection for hosting, or just stop hosting if you can´t" confused me a little bit, i wont call that a request.
come on wa, good stable dedis are expensive and we dont have so many to choose from anymore, so friendly but constuctive critics would be more appropriated.

Why would email change things.

Thank you, DigiJo! I was about to write the same...

I was very angry when I joined some laggy / not well configured servers myself, but people: please calm down first, and post HELPFUL critics then, otherwise

"please just go away."

thank you...

Thunderbunny for some strange reason is very hard to communicate with, both in e-mail and oddly in chat.

In what way is suggesting what to do in order to fix the problem not helpful?

He's difficult to communicate with, even when you catch him in a game. :|

lol!

I just saw this thread just now. :)

As to the servers...

I put them up only because I like playing those good levels that are never hosted anywhere else. I play on them when I can and leave them up the rest of the time. I'm not taking them down nor am I changing anything upon request. It's up to you whether or not you play on them. As the servers ARE on a shared T1 connection, I would suggest playing on them on the non-peak hours for the lan center.

The hours we operate are 1:00pm to 11:00pm weekdays and 1:00pm to 1:00am weekends. All times are Central Time USA.

Avoid those times if you want to avoid any possible lag or spikes.

If you want to play during the Lan Center's operating hours...you are SOL... Sh*t Outta Luck. :)
