How to move 20,000 lb stone blocks, siglehanded.

Dispells forever the idiotic concept that anything other than men built the Pyramids, and all other Very Large Block structures around the globe.

The guy is a retired carpenter, and I'm sure you'll agree, he's no smarter than the smartest people from 4,000 years ago. Fascinating movies, and explanations of how he moved his 15 ton barn by himself.

He's also making a replica of stonehenge, single handed. :)

I'm convinced.

But, this is suspicious... he wants $20 to sell you the video how he did it at the end, via paypal.

If alien anal probes gave you the ability to lift 20 ton blocks I'd......remotely consider it.

What about if it was only a half ton block? Still interested in that anal probe? Because we've already established you want to be analy probed, now we're just searching for your lower limit of acceptability... ;)

No pulley's required: egyptians of the time had not developed the concept of the axle, so they didn't have the wheel, or pulleys, only rollers, simple tools and large brains.

If you think the Pyramids were tough, then try to figure out how the 1000 ton stones at Baalbek in Lebanon (http://www.sacredsites.com/middle_east/ ... aalbek.htm) were moved well before the Romans used their platform for their own temples.

See down the bottom of the page, for the 1200 ton monster half elevated in the quarry: the single largest stone block ever created in the word.

Ancient man was a lot smarter than we give him credit for. :)

I readthisa couple of months back. It gives another theory upon the pyramids, aas well aas a lot of other things i'd not heard before, very interesting read. (sorry no aliens Ded) The "coincidences" of astronomical data/theories/myths that he ties together are quite compelling.

The building of the pyramids in Giza wasn't just a question of blocks and tackles, maybe we'll know someday. Whatever they turn out to be, they are truly magnificent. I was 17 when i saw them, but the memory lives with me still. As does the stench of Cairo. ;)

Sounds O.K. to me, you don't put as much work as he obviously has into things like this so that you can con people over the internet. I would find something like that to be very interesting.

P.S.: Cool post!
