The Onion did a fake news comedy story back in January 2001 after Bush took office. I remember reading it at the time and getting a good laugh, as I always do from the Onion. Back then I still bought into the rhetoric that both Bush and Gore were moderates and there weren't any significant differences between them.
This guy has resurrected the story and it's not quite as funny anymore. In fact it was so prescient that it's scary. He's changed certain passages of the article into links, but I didn't follow any of them.
I remember when you said that Testi. Genghis, cool post but it's not going to get far with the guys on the right in here. It's true, but then again, it's liberal leftist brainwashed garbage that is not correct at all. Everything is flowing nicely in this country. Why are you anti-American?
Snoopy, I'm sorry if someone posted this Onion article before; I did a search but maybe I missed it. I agree that it doesn't warrant much discussion, but I thought it was interesting and worth a read.
