Thinking about getting back into D1

Post by Nitrofox125 »

So I'm thinking about getting back into D1, but I don't know where to go! I own all the originals, but they're for Mac and don't work with the current release -- Mac OS X. Which would work/would you recommend? I'm running Mac OS X, Win XP, Mandrake Linux, and FreeBSD.

If you can find the DOS/Windows version of D1, you should be able to get it running fine in XP with D1X.

Well, with a little fiddling. :)

There are D1 releases for Linux, and I very much doubt any of them won't work.

There are also Kali releases for Linux, which you could use.

So that is an option, if you can't get it to work in Windows.

Is the DOS version of D1 free? Where do I get it (even if it's not, I doubt stores sell it anymore )

No, D1 isn't freeware. You could definitely find a copy or two on EBay, if you were so inclined. Besides that, I'm sure someone will be nice enough to help you out :).
