SuSE Linux is one of the few common Linux distributions that doesn't offer a simple series of ISOs to download and burn your own copy. Granted, you could download all of the packages and assemble them yourself, but that's a far cry from more traditional installations like Fedora.
I got the free SuSE DVDs a few months ago. Without a doubt, SuSE is definitely one of the most polished Linux distributions out there. But that polish comes at a price. Because they wrote several proprietary tools for managing system devices, certain things like video cards and games that work on other distros will just plain fail on SuSE.
