I heard the coolest song on the radio, well, internet radio.
I heard the coolest song on the radio, well, internet radio.
I was listening to Kawaii Radio last night and heard a strangly familiar song. I went on over to the site to see what the name of the song was and what did I read? "Descent II by Paralax"!! Way cool! Now I want to pull out my D2 cds and listen to the redbook audio.
Just thought I'd share that with you all.

That's easy, each anime series or movie has a soundtrack that goes along with it. They play songs from soundtracks. They also play Japanese pop and rock as well which there is quite a lot of.Jeff250 wrote:

And of course, they tend to play a lot of game music on certain evenings, hence I got to hear Descent II music
Update: PlanetDescent now hosts all the MP3 D2 Redbook tracks that were on Interplay's site before it went down. This also includes the music from the beginning and ending cutscenes of the game. Grab them here! (54 MB download)

Thats pritty sweet.
I just got off from Ebay the origional D2 disc just so that I could listen to the origional tracks (and play a non-bastardized version, Descent the Definitive collection). Playing D2 in its truest form (DOS) brings back great memories of when I was young. Not to mention the music.
