Best firewall I've seen

Post by CDN_Merlin »

I just installed this on my 3rd PC.

http://www.smoothwall.net/

It's a linux based firewall and it rocks. As good as IPTables I'm sure but easier to setup.

Try it out.

If I'm not mistaken SmoothWall is just a tiny Linux distro with an easy-to-use frontend for iptables.

smoothwall makes for a kickass Gaming Router and Server

this NOS is exactly why ive been asking alot of people if they have a P-II =/< system with 3x PCI =/< slots

im trying to peice together a system to run SmoothWall so i can host a couple of FS2k4 and AAO Servers and my little LinkSys BEFSR41's little 33MHz CPU wont handle that many simultanious connections without cooking itself
