Try a REAL beer next time...

Corona = piss... :P

My favorite is 'Duvel' a really strong Belgian beer. Not to be taken lightly and chugged one after another tho...

Be aware that, even as I say this, I know I will never live it down, nor push the image of the face of a cartoon horse being violated from my skull.

I agree with MD.

edit: I do prefer cider to beer. Since it's not technically beer, I guess I must abide by above statements.

Guinness has the best commercials.

I don't drink beer, though.

Lager drinkers are pu$$ies. Stella is a nice drink for the girlies.

Guiness and regional British Bitters are the best. If i had to choose a lager it would be a Belgian or a German. Which reminds me the German Beer festival is on soon.......oh the memories of a youthful Flabby.

Stella is nice enough, but I always drink Jupiler.
Then of course, we have Leffe, Grimbergen, Duvel, Palm, Hoegaarden... and so on :)
In any given café you can choose from at least a dozen kinds of beer here..

The only foreign kinds of beer commonly available here is Corona and Carlsberg. If you look for it, you will find Guinness in specific places, but we are pretty much self-sufficient with our production :P

IMO if you like the taste of beer then it's either Carlsberg Dark or a Guinness.

I had to vote "I don't drink beer" since I no longer drink. But when I did ... nothing could beat a Corona with a lime.

I could never like a dark beer. Tried a few, and they taste nasty.

Dos Equis, when I actually drink beer, is my choice. Corona is fine, but I've never bothered with it myself, only when others get it.

Coors is beer?

I'm amazed you have people who drink Corona over there Tricord. Or do you just have it for the tourists?

Favorite thus far is Guinness, but then again, I haven't tried 400 different kinds, so who knows, there's probably others just as good or better out there, I just haven't tasted them yet.

Warsteiner (dunkel) is also good.

Oh, and Guinness in a bottle is a crime. Do yourself a favor and never drink that crap again. Get it from the tap where it belongs. :P (Have it on good Irish authority that the cans are fine, but I decline to comment until I've had it myself.)

It all tastes like beer or wood to me. (Bud & Sam adams respectively.)

I tried a number of different types of SA's, but no luck. They all taste like crap to me.

Even the sh*ttiest of beer is tolerable when it's free, but it's hard to beat a good English or Irish beer. Too bad it's so damned expensive over here.

Caffrey's, Boddington's, Worthington's, Harp, Bass, Guiness... ya can't go wrong

Dos Equis > Corona. Why do you Corona is served with a lime (or lemon) in it? Piss might taste good with a twist of lime, for all we know.

Fezzik you like Boddies and Worthies ?? How do you get hold of them in the States? They are actually Bitters as opposed to beers but what the hell, it goes down the same hole no? I've not met many Americans who appreciate a good bitter.

I'm with Fezzik on this one, and luckily you can find 'em here in L.A. (except Caffery's, haven't seen that since I left Seattle).

Well, I haven't been able to find Caffrey's over here, but the others are pretty easy to find. I live in a college town, so there's no shortage liquor stores - you just gotta know where to go. Boddington's and Worthingtons are usually available in the tall cans, but they're hella expensive. Fortunately, Newcastle is readily available here, and only slightly more expensive than crappy beer, so that's usually my first choice. In fact, most bars have it on tap.

Needless to say, my tastes in beer changed dramatically after my trip to the UK. You have no idea what "smooth" is until you've sampled Boddington's from a pub in Manchester.
