D3 Editor Question

Post by Duper »

yea...

what version is the newest and the MOST STABLE? good grief, the one I'm using now (1.1 - beta 9 Atan 0.3_3g)
crashes on me every few minutes.

Before my HD crash earlier this year, I had a good version... just don't remember what it is.

ARG!

Thx!

The most recent build, which I think is the one you're complaining about, should be the most stable as far as I know.

hey duper, if d3edit crashes its often because of errors in the level, faces out of limits and such stuff.

atan doesnt post here anymore, but he regulary visits the english forum of descentforum.de :

http://www.descentforum.de/forum/viewfo ... 3b03e748a4

so you can talk to him, he is allways willing to help.

ahh ..

There are a number of errors in the level that I can not fix due the fact they are in the doors. >:|

I'm able to reduce the amount errors by fixing stuff before attach another room once I place the door. ...man .. the doors in D3 are some really sloppy work. I made a level just using all the doors to see how fast they are and get a look-see at size and sound. There are a LOT of errors. Once has a double wall and when you turn around after coming through, you're bricked in.

Thanks!
