impaled

Post by HaAGen DaZS »

i was collecting up the papers we had left for my dog while i was at school, and i noticed a fairly bizarre story:a couple of yobs had managed to grab a duck, and impale the thing from the back and through it's chest, with a screwdriver!

the duck has survived, as the screwdriver missed all it's vital organs!

this is unbelievably sick, and absoulutly astonashing!

There was a story about a turkey (I think it was a turkey) took an arrow from a hunter, and however many years later, it's still in it, and it's fine.

regarding the duck: eventually a duck hunter will run outof bullets. to protect himself from the beast he must use whatever fashioned weapons he may defend himself with.

;)

sure the duck looks hurt. BUT YOU SHOULD SEE THE HUNTER!

I abhor cruelty to animals. I firmly believe that anyone that desecrates a sacred creation of God should have the same thing done to him. I say, stab the perpetrator with a screwdriver.

Abusing weaker animal creations is extreme.

Lobber, as a religious person, I thought you would know the passgaes in the bible where we are specifically instructed to do whatever we want with the animals of Earth. Go find another dead-horse to flog ;)

We are commanded to have dominion over the animals of the earth. There's a big difference. In one case, we do whatever our corrupt human heart desires, leading us to cases like this. In the other case, we are responsible for taking care of animals in the world and ensuring their survival.

That was a goose actually. The arrow nailed it right in the head.

Mobi, the bible talks about us lording over the Animals. Let me ask... do you lord over younger children by kicking them around? Does your Boss lord over you by sticking you though with a screwdriver (don't answer that). Sure, when you're higher up, you can do wahtever you want, but seriously.... that's NOT the point. The point is responsibility.

i almost agree with you lobber, however, this state of mind is eXtreme® flawed. what about the cows we eat, from McDs and Murder King?

or the rodents that come into our homes, they probably have one of the most viscious deaths.

insects dont count? thats just stupid. for sucha small animal they are a big part of the animal circle. no insects, means no food for slightly bigger animals.. no slightly bigger animals mean no food for such and such and so on :P.

if you want a really sick story- i read about some kids who managed to get a hold of 2 puppies. put em in a bag. threw them at CARS from a motorway bridge. they seriously injured 3-5 people, killed the pups (duh) and i think they may have killed a person. :x

There's a big difference between exterminating pests, killing animals for food, and tortuing animals for fun.
