Close One!
groovy, i just opened up celestia and there it was. it's pretty close, but i think we've been tracking it for a while, we know it's no danger. as of right now it's 4X the distance of the moon away.
E = earth M = Moon-orbit T = Toutatis
too bad i didn't know about this earlier. as of now the sun isn't shining on it very well, so it'll be hard to see. unlike yesterday when the sun was supposedly shining on it quite well .
oh and Duper's right about the one that actually came inbetween Earth and the Moon, it happened in 2002, the meteor was named "2002 MN". that was definitely a close one, it came within 1/3 of the distance to the moon.
c'mon mobi , fire up celestia and check it all out. (2002 MN is in there as well by default iirc)
