Lately, I've pondered coming back and playing some d3 despite the fact that PXO is down. It's been 2 years since I've hopped in the mines but I'm quite sure it won't take long for me to get back to 85% whoopass capacity in no time.
For those of you still playing, has the average skill gotten better? Are people still whining? Or is it the same ole BS?

85%?
Yeah right. I've never seen anyon witht hat high an efficiency. If you play the better players you will not get that high for sure.

I think he means 85% of his own personal best. Your skills tend to degrade after you've been away for a while.

Oh, nawww, when it comes to that efficiency, my highest efficiency ranking pilot was around 70 percent. But my main Pilot, Korrupt was the one in which I got into the major battles with the good players. Here's the stats at retirement time

There are few things worth coming out of any retirement for. Descent is one of them.

I came out of retirement a few months back. I find a whole lot of new pilots that are OK to pretty good. The old timers seem to congregate in Veins, Halcyon, and Earthshaker quite a bit and the newer pilots are playing a lot of Abend and Subway.
I remember playing you a whole lot of times and I have a good idea of your skill level (yes, it'll come back in 2 weeks max). I think you would be challenged and have fun in the Veins and Hally servers ...
I play a lot of Hally and some veins. Lately I have been quite amused with Subway because it is such an incredibly fast and action packed mod. It is a missile boater level though.
Hope to cya there,
Ice

D3 still appears to be alive and kicking. I finally got to play with the Great Ninja, and went even on him, heh.

I came back last weekend for the first time in 4 years or more. I pretty much suck at the game now, but it is still incredibly fun. I remeber flying against you all the way back to the demo...before the afterburner bug got me. It's nice to see the community haging in there. I'm glad I finaly came back. Descenters have always been the best...

I remember you being one of the few who could hand me my ass on my own server everytime you were there. I was happy if I got one good kill on you. Good to hear from you.

[semi-necro] and all of the players that really mattered were still playing the better descents on Kali, whats your point?

Hehe, I've been lurking. Been busy too. Got a new job about a year ago and it wasnt one that allowed me to dick-off on the DBB half the day like my previous one did.

It's worth it coming back for multiplayer D3 just to pick up some new audio taunts.
