Shrinking pix

Post by Duper »

How or rather is there a way to reduce a picture (As in for textures) and retain most or at least a good deal of it's resolution.

I'm thinkin the answer is "no" as you need to remove pixels for make a picture smaller. ... I've tried sharpening and using unmask sharpening.. but either works very well. Tried large jumps in size to 25 pixel interval reductions. >:
64x64 is just too small.

any ideas?

btw.. I'm using PSP5

Textures in D3 can be as large as 256x256. Check the texture 256 flag in the .gam properties first, though!
