Logitech Z-640 surround sound issues

Alright, I just got these speakers about a week ago. Been fiddling around with em, but I can't get the sound to come out the rear 2 speakers. Everything works fine, though... What's the deal? Is there a way to force surround sound 5.1 all the time?

Btw, here are my system specs if this helps: Amd Athlon 1.4ghz/K7S5A mobo/Sound Blaster Live! 5.1 sound card. Thanks.

I'm thinkin this might be software related. Gonna try some new sound card drivers and see if that fixes the problem.

Software for the live card must be set for 4 speakers. Simple but often overlooked.

Is there a "Simulated 5.1" option is drivers?

So long since I had my craptastic SB Live! card, I can't remember!
