I found it funny how frequently they were reminding people to vote during the MTV video awards. (Yes, I was. Don't ask.) Complete with all these patriotic flag-colours everywhere, if I remember rightly.

Are things in America really getting that bad these days, that people need to be reminded to figure out there are elections going on, and need to be reminded what country they live in?

Well, I suppose it -was- MTV...

The percentage of people who actually vote, to those who can vote is pretty low.
I think the # was something around only 16 mil ppl voted last election. That's horrible (considering we have 260+ mil ppl here, not sure how many 18+).

Well, it would be, if it wasnt for the fact that those machines are more than likely rigged that way.

Anyway, remember to vote early and often on election day. Make sure your vote is counted at least 15 times!
