Well, just got done watching part one... I'm tempted to stay up until three watching the two encore presentations, but getting up for class will be enough of a pain as is.

Lexx --- Someone really smoked some good stuff when they were writing that one! Cruising the universe in a planet eating dragonfly with a sex slave, a dead assassin, and a looser captain :?

It was good time filler until either Farscape or FirstWave came on. Plus it kind of pissed my wife off when I watched it :)

Killing characters off and making them magically re-crystallize, awake from the dead, or whatever in the next episode, seems to be the norm.

So, don't worry your little heart one bit. M'kay?

Anyone recognize the scene where John is in the space suit and Scorpious is in the bed, in the room with the glowing floor and the monolith behind them?
The end sequence of 2001 A Space Odyssy of course! My god, it's full of stars!
heh. My wife recognized that one right off.
she's brilliant that way.

Farscape = 2nd best sci fi story of all time
Stargate = best sci fi story of all time

close 3rd = babylon 5

Farscape has generated too much publicity with the mini....expect a 5th season.

At the end where John holds up his infant boy to present him to the stars is a direct rip from Alex Halley's "Roots".

So is this the end of the series? I never had cable until last year, so I never got to see the preceding episodes.
