Nov 9th, biggest sick day EVA!
Welp, just asked my boss for the 8th and 9th off (I work night shift and there's a midnight release).
Beer will be stocked, BBQ will be smoked, Got another xbox since the one I had since lauch has been acting a bit quirky (thompson drive). It will definately be a good day.
Anybody else got special plans for that day or is it just a normal day for you?

Oh Jeez WarAdvocat, you can be so insensitive to other cultures. I can't BELIEVE that you don't realize that this is an important day for over 1 million people and growing. I can't believe that you can be so ignorant!!WarAdvocat wrote:You a veteran?
Or is November 8th & 9th dedicated to the observation of esoteric ethnic rituals that I wouldn't understand?

wow Mobious, you can be such an idiot hehe.Mobius wrote:You are actually gonna take TWO days off work to buy and play a new game? o_O
OMG - you need a life man. That's just tragic.
Hmmmm, work all day or have my buddies over for beer bbq and all night fun. Looks like I DO have a life. Besides, I got more life in me than you can shake a stick at homey. I think losing your virginity has gone to your head hehe
It's tragic because, if it's anything like Halo 1, won't it take like 8 hours to complete?Mobius wrote:You are actually gonna take TWO days off work to buy and play a new game? o_O

Not that I've played or am interested in either.
So does this mean that we can count on the PC Halo 2 release date being 11/9/06?

Yep, good thing that is my day off by default. Doin' the same, Thrawn my brotha!
Now, I need my bond brother.
I've been reading the novels while I wait for it to come out.
Jeff, ummmmm, 8 hours? You just get the demo or what? No chance in hell you can make it in that ammount of time. I wonder if you could even even walk through the game from point to point in only 8 hours with no enemies.
You play it on easy mode or what?
Easy is lame. Legendary ownz you!!

I'll bet half of Idaho takes the day off as being sick!!
I know there are a bunch of people at work and beyond work that are taking the day off. They held a huge friggin' tournament last here in the local Arena. I missed it though, due to my idiot friend who bailed the week before and never told me until the day of. :\ I'm definitly going this year.

will definately take more than 8 hours to complete. If I played hard, it might be 3 days, but I'm not going to be THAT hardcore. Just have my buds over for some beers and BBQ and going at it with the multiplayer modes.
Mobius, maybe you Aussies are just uptight like that, but here in the States, we like to have fun.
Work = Not fun
4 day weekend with beer and gaming = lots of fun
Getting paid for the time off = even better.
Admiral Thrawn = smart, fun loving, and just plain cool
Mobius = Flash animation hatin, complainer, not drawing power off the main brain grid
And the winner is..... THRAWN
