Did Kerry cook his goose?
I'm wondering how many votes Kerry may have lost from the slaughter of harmless geese. Do you suppose the PETA crowd will now endorse Kerry? Where are the animal rights crowd BTW? If Bush would have made such a obvious photo op, we would have seen green peace, peta, elf and all other sorts of animal and environmental activists protesting. We can only surmise these sorts of people do not really have the strength of their public convictions.
So what has Kerry gained? Hunters and NRA members are not going to be swayed by a sand fish jumping into the water and pretending to be a shark. Kerry's record has already shown what's beneath the mighty hunter's camoflage. How many undecideds though, are now looking askance at the new barbarism Kerry is exhibiting?
The bigger question here is:
Why isn't Kerry carrying his own dead goose as any true hunter would be doing? Damn elitist.

I completely disagree with your assumption. If Bush had done that, it would never have made the news.woodchip wrote:If Bush would have made such a obvious photo op, we would have seen green peace, peta, elf and all other sorts of animal and environmental activists protesting. But not all of them have seen his record. I have no doubt he swayed a few people into voting for him. At least one.Woodchip wrote:So what has Kerry gained?
