IE 6 fonts just turned huge

i just randomly checked my email today and i noticed that all the webpages i go to, the fonts are twice as big....

it annoys the ★■◆● out of me. is there any way to turn the font size back somehow?

yes, it's VERY simple. just search the pulldown menus.

Hold down the CTRL key and turn the mouse wheel is the easiest way.

hehe.. I did this a couple of times w/o realizing it. Could NOT figure out what was going on. :)

The IE fonts were one of those things you could do when someone who didnt know much about computers bothered you. Shrink the fonts in IE to as small as they go. The other thing was to drag the edge of the autohide taskbar all the way to the bottom of the screen so the taskbar couldnt come up at all.

hahaha. When I worked at Compaq, the phone-tech operators would keep a running count of the resized taskbar calls. They were embarrasingly abundant.

hrmm, I always liked the Print Screen > Use as Wallpaper > Hide all desktop icons... trick :P

Mmmm, about 80% of the IT staff at my college hated me for that trick. :wink:

That and we installed ICQ so we could talk from across the room during class. :lol:

I did that when I was in highschool...only I took it a step further. See, they used Novel to manage logins and such...so I took a screenshot of the login prompt and set THAT as the wallpaper....to every single computer in the school. :mrgreen: It was all I could do to contain my laughter when everyone complained about not being able to login. :D
