Oh please.

Keep our country safe by voting for W? How has he really made us safer? The Patriot Act that guts constitutional freedoms?

Stand up for the working man by voting for W? Hes gutted overtime pay for millions.

Protect our children? While making them dumber I can believe. The No Child Left Behind act is crippling small schools all across the country. Soon the only people who will be able to give their kids a quality education will be those who can afford private school.

I admit that Kerry isnt the best choice, and that the democratic party is out of touch with its former self, but I could say a hell of a lot of the same about the current status of the Republican Party. We could do a lot worse than Kerry, but we cant possibly do much worse than Bush.

Give me a break you damned neocons.

I should have cut out the pro-Bush parts of that, because I knew you'd home in on them.

You should have cut the parts that specified democrat or republican because both parties are mired in corporate elitism and hypocracy. What you just posted is probably a political ad plastered in some form or another across every philadelphia newspaper. Ive seen tons of them for right wing candidates and they are far from independently written. I think I read ten or so similar "letters" posted in a Sioux Falls newspaper over the weekend that were attacking Daschle and endorsing his opponent. Post something substantive as to why I should even remotely consider voting for Bush in the face of all that he has done.

I didn't post that to change your mind about who you're going to vote for. I posted that because it tells of what the new age Democratic Party is like.

Congratulations on incorrectly labeling me a neocon, btw.
I'm not a Republican, a Democrat, a conservative or a liberal, but I sure as hell do not support the Left in any way whatsoever.
