Me: Yes
Caller: I want to assure you that I'm not selling anything, we just opened up a new travel agency.
Me: Okay
Caller: I just want to assure you that I'm not trying to sell you anything with this call. We just opened up a new travel agency.
Me: Okay
Caller: We just opened up a new travel agency and are having an open house and we are asking couples ages 25 to 70 to attend. And I just want to assure you I'm not trying to sell anything.
Me: Right.
Caller: Just for coming we have some very nice vacations. Have you ever had the opportunity to take a nice vacation?
Me: No, I don't take vacations, I'm a workaholic, in fact, I rarely leave my work van.
Caller: Okay, we have some very nice vacations, Las Vegas, Miami, Cancoon, Bahamas... Have you ever been to Las Vegas?
Me: No
Caller: You've never been to Las Vegas? (sounding surprised, like EVERYONE HAS TO GO to Las Vegas...) I live an hour from there. (I'm in KANSAS, mind you..) Have you ever considered going to Las Vegas?
Me: No
Caller: I have some very nice vacations here, Las Vegas, Miami, Cancoon, Bahamas.. Do you travel much?
Me: Only in my work van, from job to job.
Caller: Oh wow, you're more dedicated than I am! I have some very nice vacations here and I want to assure you that I'm not selling anything, but you can recieve a vacation just by coming to this open house...
Me: Hold on a sec, I have a phone call on the other line...
