Yeah but she also insists that he "is well and he is coming back to his homeland". There aint no way that is going to happen, he is essentially a dead man at this point. She is in denial over that I believe ... I don't believe she is all 'here' mentally.

On the one hand Sufa wants Arafat alive so she can continue recieving money (or indeed, even controlling the account)hence her statements. The PLO officials are going to go and see for themselves as to the state of Arafats health, after all for all we know the french, much like the oil for food scandel, may be recieving kick back money from Arafats account and thus want to maintain the illusion of Arafats health.
