Good thing in my opinion. Although I don't thing the Palastinians will ever get a deal as good as was offered during the Clinton administration, at least now there's a chance for peace.
Discuss.

Im not one who dances on people's graves. To Israel he was a terrorist. But to his people he is a freedom fighter. I will leave God to judge wether he was good or not.
However, hopefully his passing will finally bring about peace, and we could definately use some of that.

Now listen to how the Frog and the Chi-coms eulogise Arafat as a Great Man and a Visionary Leader. What a crock. I wonder if Arafat now understands that you can't take it with you.

Read my post again. I never claimed Afafat was good at all. I was putting it into perspective. But you choose a knee-jerk reaction.

Yea, these guys have the longest lifespan of any humans on the earth. They just never seem to get what they deserve.

Um yeah, he can be misunderstood with a toetag on IMO
Anybody really surprised Arafat is dead though? Did we really need to make a new thread over it?
We've known he wasn't going to recover for over a week now. This was just the inevitable conclusion. Good riddance to bad rubbish I say.

I hope the Palestinians get some non-terrorist leadership now. Yasser hurt the Palestinian cause worse than the Massachussets court hurt the gay rights cause.
