Spyware ? Help !

I must have some new variant.

I have run every tool, and found nothing.

But everytime I enable / allow either my wireless connection or hardwired connection on this laptop it spews packets to the internet.

WTF - any Ideas ?

Windows XP system, and help welcome

A microslut wireless nic, the hard wired is a built in Intel 10/100

Linksys router, linksys wireless access point

As for tools in general, you might want to check this post for a list of lesser known tools available.

That being said, it might be advisable for Stress or someone to make a sticky with a list of anti-spyware or general use utility programs that are very useful.
