Looking for a command in 3Ds Max....

Post by Nitrofox125 »

In 3Dsmax, when you go to move something, colored arrows appear on the axes, and you can click along those arrows to contstrain movement to one axis. Standard 'move' gizmo. But one day I pressed something and they dissappeared! So I can't constrain movement anymore, blah blah. What'd I press so I can press it again to get em back? I tried to look through the command list, but I wouldn't even know what the command would be called....

Thanks :)

Already left you a msg, but here's the answer for future reference.

Click the "Views" menu and make sure "Show Transform Gizmo" is checked. You can also hit F5, F6, F7, and F8 to change directions as well. (X, Y, Z respectively. F8 controls XY YZ XZ respectively, just keep hitting it to change direction.)
