Nice pics, but I'm a WW2 plane liker(if it's a word).

I prefer prop planes.

Nice pics Dedman. Did you attend the Nellis AFB show?
I was there 6 years ago. I don't agree with their interpretation of "awesome" or "cool" fighters. I think the F-14, and F-18 are the sexiest and most badass birds on the planet. But then again I may be biased towards my Navy aircraft.

I do believe that the top speed of the Tomcat is not correct on that site. I will check my information and repost. It should be 2.4 Mach not the 1.88.

Merlin. there were some incredible WWII birds on that site. Did you not see the Mithcells, Spitfires, Mustang....?

Unfortunatly I didn't go. A coworker sent me the link and I knew a lot of you were fans of military aircraft so I thought I would share. And I agree with you on the F18, F14. Then again, I am Navy as well so who knows.

If there is one aircraft I'd love to see in flight it would be the blackbird. That thing just is awe inspiring to me :)

A Raptor? Damn! :D

I've been fortunate enough to see a Harrier, an F-117 (man those things are quiet), and a P-51 in operation over the air shows I've been to. I also got to experience the takeoff of a B-2 stealth bomber, which was amazing. One of the coolest displays I've seen was an F-16 doing low flybys; it was going so fast that you could see the water vapor in the air trailing off of the leading edge of the wings. Damn, air shows rock. 8)

Edit: They're retiring my plane? <- Now that's really sad. :( Ever since I saw the movie whose name I use, I've loved that plane.

Coolest aerial demonstration I've seen was an AV-8B Harrier II (although the A-10 is nice, also). Loud as hell, though (the Harrier, that is).

Ahh, my connect at work when I first saw this page didn't show all. It only showed the 1st 3 planes. Nice pics in there.
