Nice pics Dedman. Did you attend the Nellis AFB show?
I was there 6 years ago. I don't agree with their interpretation of "awesome" or "cool" fighters. I think the F-14, and F-18 are the sexiest and most badass birds on the planet. But then again I may be biased towards my Navy aircraft.
I do believe that the top speed of the Tomcat is not correct on that site. I will check my information and repost. It should be 2.4 Mach not the 1.88.
Merlin. there were some incredible WWII birds on that site. Did you not see the Mithcells, Spitfires, Mustang....?

A Raptor? Damn!
I've been fortunate enough to see a Harrier, an F-117 (man those things are quiet), and a P-51 in operation over the air shows I've been to. I also got to experience the takeoff of a B-2 stealth bomber, which was amazing. One of the coolest displays I've seen was an F-16 doing low flybys; it was going so fast that you could see the water vapor in the air trailing off of the leading edge of the wings. Damn, air shows rock.
Edit: They're retiring my plane? <- Now that's really sad. Ever since I saw the movie whose name I use, I've loved that plane.
