Disposal of old monitors.

Would they take it in if I bring it to say Circuit City or Best Buy? I know its illegal now to dispose them in landfills.

Some cities have special disposal programs for electronics. Does the monitor still work? If so, donate it to charity or something.

It works, but considering it was manufactured in 1991 I dont think its a good idea to use it at all given its radiation problems and that it only has one supported resolution of 640 by 480 at 60 hertz.

Top, take it to a Office Depot or CompUSA. both stores here in ATL at all Metro ATL locations accept monitors to be disposed of.

You could also donate it to one of your local community colleges that have an electronics program. It'll give them something else to work on other than out-dated TVs...

Older monitors have a hell of a lot more output of radiation than the more modern ones.
